yay for london and europe in 2 sleeps away! i'm a bit scared but i think its going to be a great time- i can't wait! it doesn't feel like we only just got back from hong kong a month ago at all- it seems almost a REALLY distant memory away which is quite sad. i wish we could be on holiday all the time! with unlimited stashes of spending money and 5-star hotels of course!

gotta tell you about what happened at the high road hotel tonight coz i'm a bit pissed off about it. i wasn't allowed in! the stupid fat bouncer lady checked my ID, student ID AND my bankcards, asked me my address, date of birth and postcode and STILL wouldn't let me in because apparently i have a very definite 'mole' on my drivers licence which isn't on my face!!!!!!! what the hell! i was so mad! what a waste of my time-- what other forms of ID does she NEED? my birth certificate and passport and my mum to come down and tell her that i;ve been the legal age for TWO YEARS? omg! it was crazy! not going back there anytime soon except maybe to complain about how i was treated appallingly by the door staff. hmpf.

anyway, that's me, back from my absence of blogging. woot first blog entry of the year!

hope y'all had a merry merry (belated) christmas and a happy new year and you didn't get as wasted as me, yak on your friends' staircase (oops) and were tucked up in your host's bed by 10pm! i can tell, its gonna be a great year!

I can't believe its actually happening!! I'm SO excited!!!

One more week and then we are jetsetting off to HONG KONG!!!! My mum's been threatening to book a flight out and hang out with me.. why can't she just let me be independent for once argh. I don't think she'll actually do it though (thank goodness).

I've decided not to skimp on food anymore.. I forgot that HK is the mecca for awesome dimsum wooooooo can't wait! I will be eating at the maccas there at some point though because I remember when I was a kid and I went over there the maccas was good haha. Although as a child you would probably think any form of mickey d's is good.

Also I was looking at some old holiday pictures and turns out I've already been to Ocean Park. At that stage they were only building the rollercoaster though- I've got photos of the construction of the rails and stuff. Will be exciting to go back and see how its changed. I got splashed by a killer whale last time which was fun, can't wait to see all the dolphins and sea lions!

Can't wait to shop, shop and SHOP! I just plain can't wait! But I'm a bit scared as well- you hear so many stories about people getting mugged and stuff. Hopefully if we all stick together we can keep each other safe.. Anyway, we should discuss what time we're all getting to the airport and such, whether we are meeting beforehand etc.

Ugh, now I just have to get this exam out of the way for tonight. I forgot about that. Too busy procrastinating and blogging. Oh yeah and I'm going to Mandurah tomorrow for a few days too. Yay! Wish the weather forecast was a little bit better though. Apparently its going to be raining from Thursday onwards to Monday. LAME!

Eating at macca's while in HK

I've resigned to the fact that I really cannot afford to spend more than $1000AUD while we are in HK. BUT- i really don't think i'll need more than that. Will I? I don't really need to buy anything while i'm over there except food and maybe some souvenirs... I'll prob get some business stuff made up while I'm over there but my HK confidante reckons that I can get outfits for around $40AUD each- I HOPE SO! That would mean I could get 10 and i'd still have $600AUD left over! The exchange rate seems to be rising. I managed to get some cash for around $1=$5HKD which seems to be the norm around the city. Today the rate is $5.10- i know its only 10c but its a huge difference. I didn't know that Commonwealth had foreign exchange though so I missed out on around $40 =(
I haven't changed all my money yet but i'm hoping that I really don't spend more than what I've budgeted (i'm going to try really hard!!!) I still need around $3000-$4000 for Europe =(( I'm going to be in debt when I get back to Perth.

Are we going to need ringgit in Brunei?

mmm pizza: review, Little Caesar's Pizzeria, Mundaring

Last month we made the trek up to Mundaring for some yummy pizzas that we had heard about in Mundaring. Daniel's been there before but it was my first time at Little Caesar's Pizzeria. We went with a friend who was back in town for the week to sample some of the goodness up there. We were pretty starving by the time we got there, its quite a drive there, but the pizza was definitely worth the trip!

I had a CBGB, small size ($13), to myself as Dan and friend decided to share a family sized pizza between them. The unique thing about this place is their unusual combinations of flavours and textures. The CBGB has brazil nuts, chicken marinated in seeded mustard, butternut pumpkin (deliciously roasted!), onion, pizza sauce, capsicum and your standard mozzarella cheese. This was definitely one of the lesser "weird" combinations, next time I might try the chicken fettucine pizza which actually has pasta on top of the pizza- talk about a carbohydrate overload!

It looks quite big in this picture- and its worth the $13. Come hungry I say- you'll want to polish off every bite!

The brazil nuts were wonderfully nutty and brought a different texture to the pizza you would not ordinarily expect. It was pure genius! Such a funny ingredient to add to a pizza but it made the difference between ordinary good and extraordinarily good. I would make the trip back to this place for this pizza alone.

Daniel and friend ordered the 'Gourmet BBQ' pizza- a clear winner for the meat loving boys that they are. They struggled to finish the family size pizza ($21) (they did it though), even though both of them are pretty big eaters. Both agreed that this was one of the best pizzas they have had. The Gourmet BBQ consists of roasted chicken, marinated lamb, pepper steak, smoked ham, smoky BBQ sauce, onions and mozzarella cheese. I didn't have any but it did look mighty tasty.

MASSIVE PIZZA. It could feed a small country. Haha just kidding. Two hungry boys finished it off and still had a tiny bit of room left over for dessert. (friend inset looks pretty damn happy/amazed)

After we had finished our yummy savoury pizzas, it was time for dessert. You can't go to Little Caesars without having a dessert pizza- why make the trek up there if you don't even try what they are famous for? We chose the Eskimo Joe ($10.50) to share between us. By this time we were all pretty much bursting at the seams so we didn't finish the pizza- we had half left over at the end. It was definitely a sweet ending to our dinner, and it was very yummy!

Malt choc chip cookie base, icing sugar, vanilla icecream and raspberry fruit sauce heaven!

Come closer dessert pizza, I think I could lick the computer screen right about now.

The only fault was that we waited for around 45 minutes for our dessert pizza, I think the girl who took my order screwed up the table numbers or something because there was a bit of confusion in the kitchen as to where the pizza was going and I could see that it had been left on top of the oven for around 20 minutes before I piped up and said something. There was no apology for the wait or confusion so that would be the only thing I could say was bad about the place. The place was run by teenage girls it seemed on the night we were there. Other than not getting an apology for waiting a good 3/4 of an hour for the dessert it was a nice night out. The place is small and does not take bookings so I suggest you get there relatively early. I will definitely go back again.

Hooray for early birthday presents and a boyfriend that likes to make me happy! For my 20th Dan bought me a black ipod nano. I've wanted one for a while now so I was happy when he gave it to me yesterday =) That way I can play around with it and put stuff on it. I have another mp3 somewhere but I stopped using it because the earphones were stuffed, that was about a year ago or so. Its been a long time coming! Good that I waited, woo free ipod haha.

Dan really likes watches and he's got me into looking at them too. Not the ones that are a couple hundred or even a few hundred but thousands of dollars watches. I don't know how to jusitfy spending that much money on a watch except that it will last you forever. The one that I want is the prettiest omega watch, its an omega aqua terra with diamonds and it is so delicious! Too bad its almost $5ooo.

finally getting a new camera!

Yay! So happy- I found the camera I want and it should reach my home in a few days. I love ebay! I couldn't find this camera in Perth anymore as the model has been discontinued but thanks to ebay I'm the proud owner of a brand spanking new Canon ixus 75. It hasn't arrived yet but I'm hoping its in good condition, the guy I bought it off has good reviews so I'm not too worried. Do you reckon $250 is a fair price to pay? I didn't want to get the new ixus 80is because I didn't like the look of it and its a fair bit more chunky than my last camera. I've been without one for 2 months! And I've been totally jealous at every event that I've been to since that I haven't been able to take any photos because I didn't have a camera! Yay I'm so happy! Can't wait til it gets here =D

My favourite puppy Tank went missing the other day. It was only for 12 hours though and he wasn't hurt (physically anyway). He ran out the gate at night when it was open and then decided he wanted to explore! He was caught at a property down the road trying to get at some rabbits at 2.30 in the morning and then the pound got him. Dan didn't realise he was missing til the morning so he was running around trying to look for him in the area. I was worried a total of 2 hours before I got the call that he had been taken in by the pound thank goodness!!!! Had to pay them $70 to get Tank out and then $30 to get both of them (Apollo as well) registered because they had not been registered yet. I am so glad he isn't dead though! I had images running around in my mind that he was injured by a car on the highway! Argh! My Tank, The Tool.

In times like these all I want to do is eat cake. Any sort, I don't mind, the birthday variety is my favourite though which is convenient because I have some of that in the fridge but that's another story.

MY CAR WAS BROKEN INTO!!
And EVERYTHING was stolen =(

NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER leave your bags in your car. EVER. No matter how nice the neighbourhood looks, it doesn't even matter. Don't be stupid and careless like me and leave them in your car.

My passenger rear window was smashed in and my bag was taken, my handbag which had everything I need to live is gone (camera- all my mums bday photos were on it that I hadn't downloaded yet, wallet- all my cards, money, receipts, other important stuff, diary- my lifeline for organising everything, sunglasses etc etc) and also another handbag full of clothes were taken =((((( This happened on Wednesday night in the Burswood area at a friend's housesitting place, I was only gone from my car for about half an hour, went to get my stuff and it was all gone. You cannot comprehend how upset I am!! It's such an inconvenience to have to replace all your cards and all that. =( massive sadness. Talk about irreplaceable stuff like mum's bday photos too =((

To top it all off I've misplaced the watch that Daniel bought me as well. I have NO idea where it is, I have an inkling I may have left it at the gym but I haven't been able to find it. AND my favourite boots' sole has split on the left boot =( I am not very lucky at the moment at all. When it rains it pours huh.

long time no blog!

Hope everyone went okay in their exams- how's the celebrating been going so far? I haven't been doing too much except for a couple 21sts and some dog washing! I am really sad, all this time and I seriously have nothing to talk about. Looking forward to going to hong kong! Still looking for the cashola in order to go though, should probably do that soon.. Other than that there hasn't been much going on. Dramas with Dan but I don't really want to disclose what they are, just happy that they are over with now and we are moving forward. Got my e-ticket for Europe! I know its still 5 months away but its so exciting! I'm getting really psyched up for it! Don't think I've said where I'll be going but so you guys get ultra jealous this is a mini itinerary.

Paris- city tour: Place de la Concorde, Champs Elysees, Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame Cathedral, Louvre, Mont martre and Sacre Coeur (no idea what half of those places are but i'm sure they will be awesome!)

Florence: walking tour with local guide, Spanish Steps, Trevi fountain, Piazza Navona, Church of the Capuchin Monks (i wonder if they look like monkeys!) and the Colosseum

Vatican City and St Peter's Basilica

Verona- Roman Forum, Juliets Balcony

Venice: Vaporetto ride on the Grand Canal, walking tour with local Italian guide: St Mark's Square and Basilica, the Bridge of Sighs, Doges Palace, the Campanile, the Rialto Bridge plus a traditional lace making display

Tyrol: adventure activities! skiing anybody?

Rhine Valley: visit the village of St Goar, stay in a 12th century castle!

Amsterdam: Bicycle and walking tour of Amsterdam seeing Dam Square and the Royal Palace

This is all going to be during Winter though so i'm not sure how great it will be trudging through snow, all i know is that I'm going to shopping heaps when I'm in London coz they have a heap of stuff that we don't have in Perth. Also we have 6 nights in London and a week in a coastal city called Torquay (where they made the show "Fawlty Towers"- i think that's how you spell it) so I'll be gone for a month! It's gonna be the longest trip I wouldve taken without the parental units.

billie the cat and the babydogs S2

Introducing Billie the cat......

Last week Billie came to my house, just out of nowhere! Our family has decided to adopt her because we think that she is a stray that has been hanging around our house for a while. It was so sad =( she was really skinny and absolutely ridden with fleas. The fleas are gone now and she's getting some fat on her which is good. Still have to take her to the vet but other than that I hope we will get to keep her if she doesn't have a microchip. She's still a little kitten so she may have been dumped if the owner didn't want her. She's soooo gorgeous at nighttime when her eyes are big and innocent. She loves cuddles and playing with her mouse wand thingy which has a mouse attached to a string, its so cute watching her chase it around. Also she's grown to my dad, he's teaching her to jump over his arms which is quite cute. Cats can jump really high!

As for the baby dogs, they aren't so baby anymore! I struggle trying to pick them up, they both weigh around 20kg now i think which is fairly heavy. They'll get to about 40-50kg though so they still have quite a big of growing left to do. Here's an update picture of them

Apollo is on the left and Tank is on the right. Taking votes as to which is cuter!! Personally I think Tank is but Apollo is gorgeous because when you sit down he'll come and sit on ur lap and snuggle up to you and fall asleep--- soooo adorable!!

procrastinating yet again

two days til auditing mid semester exam and haven't started studying yet. I've printed out my lecture slides, got my books ready to go in the lounge room and i'm sitting here typing this post in an effort not to get started studying. Why is it that I'm always so successful in being able to distract myself and procrastinate to a point where I am literally BARELY passing my subjects and yet still do not feel a desire to hit the books and get good grades. such is life when you are lazy like i am!

anyway thought i would blog as i haven't in about a month. This is what has been going on in my life.

1. Jason Carr's 21st

At the Royal Perth Golf Club, left quite early but was a fun time. The theme was sports. I wore a dockers guernsey and shorts. Usually you wouldn't be able to get into the club wearing the sort of stuff people were wearing, its quite a posh fancy place. The catering was alright but their sushi was really not that good. I think it had been sitting in the fridge for ages and the rice was all hard and cold ugh. Other than that it was really good, the DJ played some good songs (but also some bad ones) but we had fun dancing and jumping around.

2. Rebel died ='(

That was a really really sad day, I cried so much. He had been looking sick for a few days so we decided to take him to the vet and that's where he stayed =( We had to put him down because all of his organs were failing and he was really toxic. It was so sad because Daniel has had Rebel since he was 9 and he's grown up with him. He was the best dog ever, he was 12 when he died.

3. PuPi Management

Tank and Apollo have started puppy school. They run around and socialise with all these other puppies its really cute. There's two big dogs, a labrador and a dalmation and they always chase this little terrier dog called Roxy. The dalmation has run into me a few times and let me tell you that's not very fun. It actually hurts! He's quite big. I dunno if i'm looking forward to when Apollo and Tank get that big because they will most likely knock me over as well! I haven't uploaded recent pics of Apollo and Tank onto my computer yet but photos will be coming soon. They are so big now! I can't carry them both at the same time anymore, they weigh at least ten kilos each. I still love it when they come up for cuddles though, that's always nice. So far they have really only learnt to sit but even then they only do it when you have food.

4. First Home Footy game of the season and Michelle's 21st (in one night!)

Nothing much to report here, no photos from either even unfortunately but the dockers lost to Hawthorn and it was frustrating. The score was 97- 112.

5. Western Derby and my (half) brother's 38th birthday.

Fremantle won so that was good. Michael is SO OLD!! We went to an indian restaurant to celebrate- it was yummy.

6. Taxation test, Matt's 21st

Ew. I hope i passed this 30% exam =( i better have or else i will seriously cry.

Matty had a mexican themed 21st and I got drunk in the first five minutes. So bad. Photos on fb if you want to see.

That's pretty much all that's happened. Got dates planned for my Europe trip next year which is exciting! Going to go on the 3rd of January til the end of January I think. Also Dan has asked me to go to Brazil with him which i am absolutely ecstatic about but I don't know if i can go yet because its during exam period second semester and stupid unit controllers dont let you sit exams early unless its like an extreme circumstance... say for example you are an elite athlete competing in a national sport. Maybe i'll just tell them i am attending a wedding. Hmm

update- puppies and going ons

Apollo and Tank are going to be 12 weeks old next week. Sometimes I get jealous that their lives are so carefree and fun- all they do is play, eat, sleep and go toilet! They've grown so much since we first got them, they have doubled in size! Still adorably cute though. Apollo's eyes have darkened but they are still quite light whereas Tank's eyes are dark brown. I'm glad that they still have their tails because its so cute to see them wagging when they are excited. Rebel's stumpy tail wags too but it's not the same as seeing a tail wag. (Rottweilers used to have their tails chopped off but now it's not allowed to do that)

They are going in for their second vaccination on Thursday and then hopefully it will be time for puppy school. It's important they have some obedience because once they get bigger they'll be able to knock people down and hurt them.

Apollo. He's the nice one who poses for pictures and lets you cuddle him and falls asleep in your lap =) Note his tail has a little tuft of fur on the end- so cute! It's like a little pompom lol

Tank. His ears are so floppy and he gets very excited when there's food around. If I have my hair down and I sit down to play with them he will try to grab my hair.

It's hard to tell them apart now that Apollo has grown bigger, I find myself picking up a puppy and calling it the wrong name alot these days. They kindof know their names though because when I call for one of them it will usually come if it's a good day haha.

Beach bash was on the other night- so crap I had to drive there but I did have a few drinks. The grape slushie was yummy! Even better because there was alcohol in it and you couldn't even taste the alcohol! I've been to beach bash twice now, I think I'll miss it when I leave uni because it's a pretty fun event. Met this guy Graham and danced with him for a while (you all know Dan doesn't like to do that stuff) and he tried to kiss me! Guess i shouldve told him I have a boyfriend oops. Rob ended up telling him afterwards and then he thought I was leading him on- excuse me! We had a fun time though.

Some guy stole a box of vouchers and threw them everywhere like confetti- it was great! I mustve nabbed $50 worth, bought lots more drinks and George's kebabs mmm! I only ended up spending $20 of my own money yay! Dan being a good boyfriend bought me some also after I annoyed him for a while. Really he should just buy them without having me ask him.

uni sucks and i want a new phone.

Need i say more about uni sucking? One week back and it seems like we never left. The bad thing is that we did leave, and now we're back, it means another semester of buying books (mine were over $400 for 3 units), doing assessments and taking 20 minutes to find parking in the parking lot. Not alot has changed around campus, still the same old main cafe, same old lecture halls, same old library. What do they do with our money honestly? I don't know where its gone!

All i keep telling myself is "one more year". One more year and we'll be done (most of us) and then there will be some travelling (yay europe!) and then onto fulltime work and whatever else there is out there in life. Turning 20 this year will be a milestone i reckon. Just because we won't have that "teen" status anymore. It's kindof sad. It might be the start of real responsibility. That's what I envisage it to be anyway. Ah well. I guess we gotta grow up sometime.

I've been eye-ing the new samsung F700. It's like a sidekick slash iphone except completely more awesome. It's sleek design, cool touch screen and qwerty keyboard did it for me. Hey i just realised when you go to type qwerty it's the first six letters on the top row of the keyboard haha. I can't wait til it's released in stores here in australia, at present you can only buy it online and I have this feeling that it's a bit risky to transfer $800 of your money into someone's bank account and trust them to give you the goods. I'd rather go into a store and buy it-- I CAN'T WAIT!!! Lately my phone hasn't been sliding up as easily, i think there's some sand stuck in it or something. Time to upgrade- to the samsung f700!

I can't say that this holidays has been the most eventful for me, its been pretty eventful but not the most eventful ever. Besides getting the puppies 3 weeks ago (best thing ever) and going to mandurah for a few days the holiday has been fairly quiet. iIve been working just a little at iga usually on thursday nights and some other days and i also now have a job at the newsagency next to iga where i work on wednesdays and saturdays.

Mandurah was a lot of fun, went with dan for a bit of a holiday and stayed at a bed and breakfast in silver sands which is a bit closer to perth than mandurah (about a 5 minute drive). Had all of our breakfasts cooked for us (yum!) and went out to dinner and lunch everyday for 4 days (expensive!). We were right next to a beach so going down there just meant we had to walk about 30 seconds and we were there, and it wasn't a dodgy beach with jellyfish and stuff. It was a nice beach, we pretty much had it all to ourselves. I got dumped by waves a few times and one time i got dumped really bad while attempting to swim out and standing in the wrong spot. I got dragged along the seabed which really hurt and got sand everywhere! I was screaming and crying like a 6 year old and I think I scared Dan because he thought i had broken something.

Dan bought us boogie boards from Target on the last day because the ocean was pretty wavy, we boogie boarded for a while but after i was dumped i wasn't too keen on going back into the ocean again. I still have my boogie board- it is a Dora the explorer boogie board- i quite like it. I also tanned a bit too so kahsean can't say that i have white legs anymore. haha.

The puppies are going well, when we got back they had grown about 3 inches! In 4 days!!! Tank is pretty heavy now, he's a little fatty. Apollo is still fairly skinny on account of Tank eating all the food. At last weigh in they were 4kg and 3.5kg so they probably put on a kilo each i think.

Not particularly looking forward to going back to uni =( I still need to buy my parking permit and also my books- have any of you guys bought books yet? Gotta check if tutes are on this week but i suppose what with being third years now that they are on. Stupid uni. Gah.

friday night bender is this friday night i'm so excited! i've organised this thing wih a whole group of people going first to zapatas mexican restaurant in fremantle then metros freo. if you want to come you are most welcome- in fact i want you to come! i wouldve invited you on facebook but some people like huoymin either still don't have the net or haven't checked it.

australia day was interesting- went to some pool parties which were quite fun. the first pool party was held by one of dan's friends and the second was sean's pool party. at sean's pool party basically it was awesome music and skankadancing in the pool it was so much fun! the first was mostly just chilling out and relaxing. i got really really drunk though and ended up passing out in weir's bed for about 3 hours- it felt like ten minutes but i woke up and it was 8 at night! wth

yesterday i helped dan build a puppy pen for the puppies that he's getting. the pen is pretty good, it's got wooden beams and everything- the chicken wire we used is pretty sturdy (it cost us $80 for ten metres! it better be sturdy) so rebel shouldn't be able to get in and eat the pups. now we're just looking at papers and stuff for rottweiler puppies. last week they had an advert for them but this week they were all gone already =( so sad!! i can't wait anymore! hopefully there's some soon!

also went to a 21st bday party of somebody i don't really know- also another one of dan's friends, i made friends with the girlfriend and her sister- they were really nice and funny. also made friends with this indian guy akshat and now he's going to be my new indian best buddy!

this week i've been proud of myself as i went to the gym consistently! started last weekend on saturday when dan got me that pass to his gym so i've been accompanying him to his gym this past week.

started off last weekend doing weights circuits, monday night i made dan do boxercise class with me (so tiring!) wednesday night went and did aqua aerobics hehe-- i've always wanted to do that! surprisingly that was pretty tiring too! and tonight i'll be going to pump class. woo gym!

FRIDAY NIGHT
Tonight i went out with sean, plans were to have a big night doing something but it wasn't decided what we were actually going to do. There was much indecisiveness going on, not on my part but on sean's side. We were going to meet up with kate and and her friend kendall first at northbridge for clubbing then somebody's house for singstar then we finally decided it was going to be metro's in freo. Sean picked me up and we got there at about 9.30pm and nobody was there so we headed to the newport to get a drink and catch up a bit before we had to meet the others. After newies and a skyy blue lemon and lime (which tasted like shit) later, we headed off to metros to meet kate and kendall. When we got in, the place was really quiet, only a few people were there standing around drinking. There was a platform set up in the middle of the dance floor and we decided that we were going to dance on it later after a few drinks. Fun times were had by all dancing and making new dance moves, we got up on the platform a couple times and had some photos taken of us by a photographer on two seperate occasions, once on the platform and once when we were sitting down-- we mustve looked hot. Ended the night with 24hour maccas, mmm midnight cheeseburger and large fries.

SATURDAY DAY and NIGHT
Saturday was spent sleeping in and then spending the rest of the day with Dan. I went to have a workout session with him at his gym coz he hooked me up with a 7 day pass. We went around and he showed me what he does at the gym which is a lot of weights circuits. It was pretty fun, he made me work out though. I think I surprised him by actually being able to do the stuff he did but I was only doing at half the weight he was doing it. I learnt some new stuff so hopefully I'll be able to remember how to do it on my own at my gym. After the gym we went to Carousel to get our one year anniversary presents (how exciting!). Dan already had an idea of what he wanted to get me, a ring, so we went to all the jewellers in caro to find one that I liked. Settled on a nice simple ring that we got from zamels, its got ten little square diamonds (they're real! =D) across the front of the band and its supposed to be made of 18carat gold but i think the lady in the store either lied or had the wrong ticket on the ring because its got a code on it for 9carat gold. That kindof pissed me off because i didn't realise until later. Still have to check the receipt though... Dan's got it. I bought Dan a ring from there as well, it's one of those rings with the black face and an eagle on it.
After we went shopping and the gym I went to home to get ready for the second part of the day. We went to the Windsor Hotel with Berry and Chloe for some double dating action dinner and drinks. I had the lamb loin with sweet potato mash and parsnip wedges with minted pea sauce and jus- dunno how i remember that, probably because it tasted SO GOOD!!!!!!. For dessert we had coffee creme brulee (yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm) and sticky date pudding (yummmmmmmm) and it was really yummy- even better because it was free as it took ages to come out.

SUNDAY DAY
The UWA Ultimate Frisbee Club had organised a lawn bowls day so I went to that with Dan. I know one of the people in the club because he's one of hannah's boyfriend's friends. It was a really nice day, not overly hot, but still hot enough to get sunburnt! I have a handprint burnt onto my back coz i didn't apply sunscreen on properly, idiot me. There were cheap drinks because there's always a bar at bowls clubs- $11 jugs woo! And we learnt how to play bowls by some masters of the game haha, Pikey, one of the funniest nicest guys there is, his dad plays lawn bowls so Pikey knew how to play and taught us how to do it. I was teamed up with Dan and together we won our match against Weir and Julie. All of us were playing for the first time and it was alot of fun, some good shots were played and I'd like to say that I'm actually not bad at lawn bowls in my opinion lol.
Also before we went to lawn bowls I gave Cedric a much needed wash so he looks clean and shiny now =)

I too have passed 260 like huoy min and am completely ecstatic about scaling. SOOOOO close to failing i tells ya! Finance 215 as well as Accounting 260 both, i got 50% ON THE DOT!!!! OMG! i was so scared to look at my results that i made vanessa check for me because i was so sure i was going to fail! i knew i deserved to fail anyway- after the effort i put in... which was like none. The only thing i can say is that i am so grateful to pass- as i am every semester- thank God! He probably gets me through coz he feels sorry for me or something. I am so relieved that I have passed- don't have to repeat! And i will try harder next semester... i must!

Dan's 21st was last night and oh my gosh it was awesome. Hardly saw him most of the night but nevertheless managed to have a pretty damn good time! Was dressed in my skanky prostitute costume consisting of a ribbon choker, corset style semi see-through lingerie top, black shorts, fishnet stockings and patent red peep toe heels (plus a faux fur lined jacket). If I had been standing on a street corner and police rolled by I definitely would have been arrested for certain.

Dan looked pretty spiffy- he doesn't scrub up too bad in a suit but then again, you put any boy into a suit and they're bound to look pretty fantastic.

Mum bought Guitar Hero for our wii yesterday- i guess kindof as an early christmas present. Played all of last night (probably about 4 hours with a half hour break for a shower) jeez i am so sad! The game is addictive. This afternoon i have completed all of easy level so that's about 42 songs i unlocked woot. Yes. Very sad. I don't even like half of the stuff that they have, the songs are all rock songs as the version we have is GUITAR HERO III, Legends of Rock. There's this one song i could keep playing coz it's fun-- "hit me with your best shot" so played that a few times. There's only about 5 songs i actually know out of all of the songs.

Anyway, last night, the whammy bar was working fine- the whammy bar is this metal stick thing at the bottom of the guitar which you move to get more points or whatever. This afternoon when i went to play the whammy bar wasn't working. Somehow between last night and today the whammy bar mysteriously stopped working... How dodgy! I don't actually think it's my fault though- like i said before, it was working perfectly yesterday. Gotta bring it back and probably get it changed or something... And also buy a game where i actually know the songs! I hope they make one with like pop songs like the veronicas or something like that hehehe

got some hair extensions put in today at some random emo/goth shop that stef ee recommended in the city called wildilocks next to boffins and joynt venture on hay? street =) the girl who served me was really friendly and she had wool braids in her hair that went down to her knees!!! =O

anyway the extensions that i got are red (made of real human hair-- the idea of if is kinda gross coz it's somebody's dead hair but it looks so cool!!!! i had to get that coz you can't use hot curlers or anything like that with the synthetic extensions) I got 4 put in at a cost of $32. I have two on the right side of my head, one near the bottom and one on the left side of my head, i'm so pleased!

Dan's turning 21 on Friday- i'm very excited about his party coz i get to decorate it! I got him a cake with his photo on it- i hope it turns out good! Planning on getting helium balloons and banners and everything! It will look completely awesome. I'll post pics if i remember to take pics while I'm decorating. I got him a wallet and some cufflinks for his birthday present- he better like them! The theme is pimps and hoes so I went to bra's n things and got this awesome corset style top thing- it's not actually a corset thing- its more lacy and stuff. I got a feather wand to go with it, it's awesome. Some other girls are going as naughty santa girls- they're gonna be the "ho ho hos". i thought it was pretty clever. all they need is a guy to dress up as seedy santa and they'll be perfect!

Our relationship is going alright, not too much to report.. I think it's better when we're together as opposed to when we're not together. (duh) When i don't get to see him the relationship is strained in the sense that I hardly hear from him or talk to him. That's the way he is- indifferent. That's why its better when we actually see each other. I don't like it when i don't get to see him..

Making plans for our one year anniversary which is in a couple months- not long to go- i can't believe it's been almost a year already! Time flies by so quickly...
We're going to go on a mini holiday type thing probably in Mandurah near the beach just to relax and spend time together just the two of us. =) When we get back we're gonna go puppy shopping. That's what i'm gonna try make him do anyway- it won't be my puppy, it'll be his puppies but that's okay coz i'm not too keen on picking up puppy shit anyway- i just wanna be there for the cuddles and teaching them how to do tricks and play with them and maybe give them baths and take them for walks... so basically everything except picking up their shit. He's gonna get two boy rottweilers to keep Rebel company and they are going to be called Achilles and Panzor. I have nicknamed them Axe and Pansy. Rebel is the dog he has now, he's getting pretty old, he's about 12 but he acts like a puppy- i love him. I think i spoiled him too much coz i bring him treats and he's always whining when i'm around on account of he knows if he whines i'll give in and give him something to eat or pay him attention.

after much debate i've decided to go back to public blogging. the triviality of why i moved to private in the first place was a bit stupid i guess. i don't really remember why i did it except for the fact of that person who kept posting bitchy comments. which leads me onto my next topic-

why is it that people bitch and then pretend that there's nothing wrong between you when you may be talking to them? i admit that i was one of those people who did that- actually, i still do it. and i hate it. i hate the fact that people can be so consumed with bitching about other people but what gets me the most is when you say something about someone but don't have to guts to say it to their face. if someone doesn't like me then i want to know about it. no one likes finding out second hand about these things. i for one get more angry at this than if you were to come up and tell me to my face. that way at least i'd have respect for you to come and tell me.

Was at a friend's house doing accounting homework last night with Vanessa and we had just finished dinner so we were cleaning up our mess. Whilst in the kitchen/dining area, I was looking at some drawers while Vanessa was loading up the dishwasher and as I was looking at a particular set of drawers, (second from the right) the top drawer opened...... BY ITSELF!!!! There was nobody there and it wasn't open already from what I recall but it happened so fast yet slowly and the drawer slid open. WHAT THE HELL!!!!! HAUNTED HOUSE! POLTERGEIST!!! That was really freaky and me and Vanessa got really scared. As we were jumping up and down and screeching in fright from the mysterious sliding drawer, a plastic bag flew over our heads which made us screech even more as it looked like a ghost. That was probably the result of a plastic bag just catching a breeze and falling down but still- after seeing that drawer open by itself it was spooky! Don't need to tell you I won't be going there at night again that's for sure no sirree.

what's been going on? i'm procrastinating as usual- finance mid sem tmr and i'm still not doing any work or revision! what happened to that mid year resolution where i said i was gonna study harder? um- i think it's gone. I promised myself that i would try harder but clearly haven't. there hasn't been much happening lately, my birthday is next week- you guys are all better be coming. i don't wanna hear any "i can't be bothered" crap. even if you're going to GK- no excuses, you'll make mine predrinks.

hmm- been going out with dan for 8 months now and yet i still worry and stress about crap that shouldn't even be worrying about- why the hell am i so fucking insecure??? it's caused a shit load of problems and it's just not worth it. can't wait for tuition free week- that'll be awesome.

found myself addicted to karencheng's blog and facebook. myspace i still go on occasionally but don't really comment anymore- sorry guys. i can't spell-- i mean, in year7 i was an awesome speller, now going from primary school to highschool to uni my spelling is so terrible! and i swear too much- but i think i've cut down a bit- i dunno, i can't really tell- only other people can tell me.

i haven't been to the gym for a while. i need to start going more frequently so i can have a bikini body for the summer hehe but again- so LAZY!!! seriously need to motivate myself. hopefully during tuition free i will go everyday, by that i mean monday to friday. sif i'm gonna go to the gym on the weekend HAH.

need to start being a more positive person and not so bitchy and what's that word-- petty? no that's not it. what's the word when you mull over something that shouldn't even be important? i don't think it's petty it's something else but i'm not sure what. anyway i have to stop being that and be more carefree and don't give a rat's ass about things that don't matter.

i want to get a new hairstyle-- i don't know whether i want to dye it or not though because i like the colour of my hair, but i seriously need to get a fringe. my fringe doesn't even exist anymore!

what a night! my head soooo crap at the end of the taxi ride home back to the hotel and i almost chucked up in the elevator but lucky i didn't coz when i eventually did yak it was red from all the pulses and cruisers i drank. mannn felt like shit but you know after you vomit everything feels so much better!

the hotel was great, i forgot to take pics of the swimming pool and stuff but i got some of the room. the swimming pool was really nice. (weif works at the hyatt i didn't know that! she made me capuccino in the morning thanks wei phuong! oh shit- i think i might have called her pui thang when i left.... ask her coz i can't rmb i was still trashed)

hey guys- big news! got a graduate position at kpmg- phew- seriously do not know what i would do if i didn't get it. probably crawl up into a big ball and cry for 3 weeks or something. It's a major relief to have the security of a job- it means me n vanessa are pretty much going on exchange next year! it's so exciting! don't worry guys- you'll all get grad positions too- i mean if i can (with my dodgy dodgy DODGY marks, you can too!!)

So everybody knows that I am a BIG FAN of horfun. I love it so much, if i could eat it everyday i probably would. I was MORTIFIED upon hearing that my boyfriend of 5 months NEVER had horfun before and so invited him to my horfun adventure with joanne at spencer last wednesday night. I LOVE HORFUN!!!!!!! well if you read my "depressive blog" a last week, you wouldve noticed me and dan weren't in a really good way that time. well, i wasn't happy with dan anyway. it's been one of the better weeks this week i think. I've definitely spent more time with dan this week than any other week i think. I saw him on saturday night when he had a bit of a get together, stayed til late so it kinda followed thru to sunday. Even though i didn't see him sunday arvo or anything i talked to him for a bit and we made plans to have dinner during the middle of the week so that was good. Then I didn't see him on monday but we msgd each other. Tuesday i saw him in the morning and he made me breakfast (i had a four hour break so i went to see him) then i also saw him in the afternoon and we basically spent the rest of the day together after my gay ass acct class. I went to his lecture with him in the city then we got something to eat afterwards. I also saw him last night for the dinner we had planned, we went to nicholsons (i got fisherman's catch, it was alright- next time i'm having the ribs though hehe) then he came back to my place and we just hung out and watched tv and played a car racing game on the wii. I didn't see him today but I'm seeing him tomorrow, he's gonna come over after uni i think which should be good. Then hopefully i see him on the weekend as well if we're not too busy studying. so yeah =) i saw him lots this week so i'm pretty happy, i feel like we're actually a couple haha

OMG MY HAIRDRYER TRIED TO KILL ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! one minute i'm blowdrying my hair, the next, THE HAIRDRYER IS ON FIRE!!!!!!!!! okay okay, maybe it didn't catch fire but i'll tell you what happened...

I came out of the shower, and towel dried my hair, then i went to plug in the hairdryer. All was fine for the first few minutes as i was drying my hair, no disasters, no immediate dangers could be foreseen then ALL OF A SUDDEN, my hairdryer stopped working. and then there was this burning smell. I was thinking, what the hell, what happened to my hairdryer. Then I looked inside the hairdryer like where the air blows out, AND IT WAS FLAMING. okay maybe not flaming. You know like on the inside of a toaster? How the toaster gets red from the heat when you go to toast bread? Well, the inside of my hairdryer was like that. I was blowing on it to try and put it out and shit, lucky i didn't turn on the tap and put it out with water coz it was still plugged into the outlet. If i had done that I wouldve been electrocuted i think. And that wouldn't be pretty.

So, that was my near death experience. Hope you all enjoyed it.

ARGHHHHHHHH why are guys such stupid dickheads. seriously. is it a crime for me to want my boyfriend to see me? no right? instead, he's going to the gym. when was the last time i got to spend time with him "just us" at a place that's not his house? i can't remember. really- i can't. i like the guy don't get me wrong it's just when i don't get to see him or when he doesn't talk to me it's frustrating. and when i say "get to see him" i don't even mind it being like a couple times a week, so long as i get to see him. gah i dunno i'm just venting. it's like 4 months next week. that's 2 months away from 6 months. and the problem is not that i'm sick of him, it's i can't get enough of him but i'm thinking it's the other way for him. or maybe he's just a lazy bastard who doesn't know what having a girlfriend is supposed to mean. it's just so frustrating because i let myself like him like how much i like him now. which is quite a bit.. i mean, if i liked him less this wouldn't be a problem but i don't and it is. it's exactly how vanessa said it, "any relationship is under the power of the one who cares the least" and i hate how that's the complete truth. meh- i'm just gonna leave it a couple days and see if he asks me out. no doubt he probably won't.

in other news, i got 16/39 for my accouting test. yippee life is going SPLENDIDLY for me can't you tell? no, it's not actually- i was being sarcastic. thanks for listening guys. i'm having a SHIT day.

so there's this girl in my accounting tutorial. she calls herself "kiko" but her real name is really truong ying ying. and yes- she is a "FOB" as we all like to class them. if you don't know what a fob is, it's another term for ppl who don't come from here, usually asian ppl who can't speak proper english, are really good at math and stare at you.

now, me being the eternally nice person (hah yeah right) talk to her in conversation and just agree with whatever she's trying to tell me on the day. i am beginning to regret this decision talking to her (btw she talked to me first so ur not mistaken. she prominently sat down next to me in accounting class and started talking to me) because she REALLY gets into my personal space. it's really really scary. the other day i was sitting down minding my own business before class started and then she came up behind my chair, put her arm round my shoulder, looked down at me and said "hi" in her fob voice. SHE PUT HER ARM AROUND MY SHOULDER. PEOPLE!!!!! SHE PUT. HER. ARM. AROUND. MY. SHOULDER!!!!!!!!!!!!

let me tell you i felt REALLY uncomfortable like seriously uncomfortable. and then... she sat down all smiles, and was like watching me texting somebody- and then she asked for my number. i totally wanted to give her a fake one but then i just ended up giving her my real number. i wonder what she's gonna do with it- i haven't got any messages or calls yet (thank goodness) but yeah, she asked for my number. cmon she wears SCRUNCHIES. not there's anything wrong with wearing scrunchies, she just does wear them.

yeah and also the other day i avoided looking at her but vanessa was with me and she said that she was full staring at me as i walked past her. tell me guys, am i being paranoid for being freaked out or in this situation would you be feeling the same as me? i think my reaction is completely normal. maybe i'm a bit racist to fobs. i'm not proud to admit that, it's not a very good character trait coz i'm sure she's a nice girl.. just TOO nice. she's always like, touching my arm when she talks to me. so not right- i'm sorry but it's NOT okay okay?

sorry guys i was a bit drunk so i didn't take pictures at the actual beach bash. only afterwards when we were waiting for the taxi and yeah. it was really fun-- i was already drunk before i got there. five drinks in the space of an hour (ruski, smirnoff black- both worth two drinks, and another half a smirnoff black) and i was gone. there was lots of spas which we sat in and the music was good as well. don't try dancing in a spa when you're drunk it's not very safe. i kept falling over it was bad haha. i'm just pre-warning you now, you may see pictures of me and hannah hooking up in a spa in grok... went to dinner with dan at seizan japanese restaurant in the ct. we sat in these cool seats where it's like ur sitting on the floor but it's comfy and all that. www.seizan.com.au it was really nice. he bought me flowers and i got him a heap of car cleaning stuff.

hey everyone i'm back from dunsborough!! it was so awesome! basically the whole time we were there we did nothing and it was the best fun. we went to the beach everyday and also the bakery- mmmmmm bakery! i found two of the best bakeries in the world going down south- dunsborough bakery and MIAMI BAKEHOUSE which was my favourite. can you believe we have a place in perth called miami? it's so cool i loved it there. everytime we go down south now i'm ALWAYS gonna go to miami bakehouse. will post photos from dunsborough soon.

(oh and if ur wondering about daniel- we have a date on valentines day heh heh. he's taking me out to dinner i think)

started with him coming early. he gave me a kiss on the cheek and said i looked nice (as every guy should do). walked over to his car (silver skyline which he's done up-- SOOOOOO nice) and sat in it. then this is what happened in the car--

Daniel (D) "hey what's that?" pointing to a red beady thing behind my chair

Me- "i dunno" i was thinking to myself its an alien

D- "would you be able to grab it for me please?"

Me- "sure"

Thinking it was a stick or something i went to yank it, but it was heavier than that. felt down to the base of it, reached over around the seat and it was FLOWERS!!!!! =)

I was so surprised because i did not expect anything like that. and he put some thought into it so i was really pleased.

Next we went to the foundry pub n grill at carousel to get something to eat. We shared a pizza and i had lemon lime n bitters and he had a corona (he can drink coz he's off his P's). It was pretty comfortable and we talked about all random stuff and it was relaxed. there was a bit of laughing and all that stuff. Sat and talked for about an hour because the movie didn't start til 9.30. The music was really nice and they had a guy singing live who was really good and he sang teddy geiger "for you i will" so i was really happy.

after eating (he paid) we went upstairs to the movies and i was about to walk into the normal line you know when you go to the movies, then daniel like took my shoulders and goes "let's go la premiere" and guided me towards the red carpet. my reaction- "are you SERIOUS????" never been to la premiere before. when he takes a girl out- he takes her out. so we went to la premiere and saw pursuit of happyness. movie was alright. (no i didn't kiss him at the movies in case you were wondering) i spilt my drink. whoops. how embarassment, but then daniel shared his with me. awww how sweet. haha

after the movie (he paid) walked back to the car (his car is so hot.) and just chatted a bit about music and stuff then he drove me home. goodbye kiss in the car and that was it. he was gonna walk me to my door but i told him he didn't have to. i hope he asks me out again coz he was really nice and funny. don't know if he will though but he did msg me this morning (after i msgd him thanks last night) and he said he's pretty sure we'll go out again. eeeek hope we do!!!!

went to a party on friday night which was quite fun. let's just say that was the first time i got to drink in a while so i went a bit crazy. you know how i only need two drinks to go off? well i had about 7. drunk shirley = friendly shirley. hooked up with tom again. and another guy daniel. i don't think i'm gonna contact tom bcoz he has no social skills and i'm not happy with him atm coz i reckon he took advantage of my drunken-ness. daniel on the other hand was really sweet and knew i was drunk-ish so he didn't do anything crazy. he got my number and he asked me out. yay =) he's half brazilian and from what i can rmb he's tall. i like tall. we're going out on wednesday night. wish me luck!

he's 35 and he plays tennis for australia. he was a wildcard in this year's australian open and he made it to the 3rd round of the tournament. during his 3rd round match, he was injured during warm up practice, played three games with mardy fish from USA, lost serve twice, then forfeited the match. he had no control of his right leg and couldn't serve properly because his knee kept collapsing. he was devastated. i was devastated. it was his last australian open. forever. sorry wayne. you've done us proud with how far you went.

yeah it's been ages since i last blogged hasn't it? let me just start with saying MERRY CHRISTMAS! hope you guys all had a good one and got lots of xmas pressies! i got money coz i'm "old" now and i don't get presents anymore. so sad! but i did get an awesome set of paul frank pjs from joanne! thanks jo i love them!

hmm what have i been up to lately? well as usual friday night is RUBY ROOM night surprise surprise! this time i went with joanne and her dad and we met up with sean and his other friends there. AIRBAG played a really good set that night and i got the lead singer's sweat on my foot. ew but at the same time.... pretty cool. hahahaha. they played all good songs including my new favourite unknown title song which consists in the chorus the line "and i never wanna see ur face again, go away, get fucked, fuck off!" awww man i love that song! actually i just love the ruby room full stop!! that night i was drinking and i started off with a vodka and OJ, followed later in the evening with a smirnoff. you know what happens when i get drunk? i get FRIENDLY! haha. yup- hooked up with two guys that night which was fun. first guy was very very cute and tall too just the way i like em. second one really short. but he was a better kisser than the first guy. so yeah. he was still short tho.

saturday night was hannah's belated bday party. that was really fun. we played a drinking game called circle of death but because i wasn't drinking i just watched everyone else get drunk around me. we met this guy sam who was really funny and got him really drunk. apparently later in the night he vomited but i missed it. damn. but that's probably a good thing coz i'm a sympathy vomiter and i would vomit if i saw him vomit. which would have been really gross. we also met other friends of hannah's girls and guys. it was funny seeing all the drunk ppl dance. all in all it was a pretty good party. we went to northbridge afterwards with hannah, rachel, tom, jason, baker and tim (plus me n joanne) and we headed to the deen which was fun. you know on the other side there's a live band??? hannah saw adam hunter (guy who plays for the eagles) and hooked up with him. and i hooked up with tom (who's 6'6" omg i'm in love) and also baker but later that night baker moved onto joanne and now they're probably gonna go out. damn. and me and baker have a mutual love for jack's mannequin (the band) and also freo footy club. seriously we were made for each other. on the other hand tom plays volleyball and goes for the eagles. (which is what joanne does) but like they say- opposites attract. i reckon baker is like the male version of me. no wonder joanne loves him. he's such a gorgeous sweetie tho. aww i love him! i hope tom calls me. else i'll be cut. omg i have to tell you guys tom looks SOOOOO MUCH like hot russian guy it's not funny! they are both tall, short brown hair etc etc. and tom was wearing this suit jacket thing and i was like OMG HOT RUSSIAN GUY. yeah he looks like the hot russian guy- he goes to UWA and does commerce- economics. yeah i know economics ew. but he was so sweet. drunk but sweet. it's a plus that he's so tall. i love tall guys.

no not detox from alcohol- as you guys are all well aware, i didn't go out this week coz i was detoxing from going out. hahaha. mannn you guys it's been so boring! but it's good coz next week i can go out and come home REALLLY late. or REALLLLLY early 4am- 5am. but you guys always come home at that time so yeah. next week guyyssssssssss soooooooooo have to go out! i wanted to go out wednesday night but you guys got that xmas dinner, turns out i have to work anyway. bleh. this will be the first time i work 5 days in a row. it's so shit man i'll go crazy! i worked today 7.30-5.30, and then i work every day til wednesday. hey where are you guys anyway? probably metros. ugh. detox. NEXT WEEK i'm coming out so include me in all plans please coz i'm COMING!!! woo!

oh yeah- tell you what i did last week. i didn't realise i hadn't blogged for AGES! as usual i went to RUBY ROOM last week. this time with kahsean and sean. we met up with joanne there and ks had her little adventure! it was fun!!!! i love the ruby room. plus we got in for free coz ks' housemate's gf had her bday there so cool! thanks ks' housemate

saturday night went metropolis fremantle. also went into the newport which was alright. but we only stayed for five minutes so shirley and van could drink. then headed to metros. line was SO LONG. but we didn't have to wait too long. moved pretty quickly. metros freo wasn't as good as i expected it to be. it's quite big but i think it's still smaller than metrocity. at first they played really shit music but after a while it was okay. no hot guys to dance with whatsoever. that was quite sad.

that was my weekend last week. this weekend there's nothing really to blog about coz i didn't go out. except yesterday i went to the museum with joanne. that was fun! we saw a dinosaur and also an american bison which is REALLY big. kinda reminded me of a giant wombat. we should all go and have a cultural/educational experience at the museum if you haven't been yet. it's SO cool! oh yeah i also went to that $5 book sale. managed to spend $25 even though there was like nothing there. hmm

i think that day i spent about $100 but i don't even know what i spent it on! oh and also there's supre in the city now! how convenient! it was packed though coz it was just launched the other day. seeing supre in the city wasn't too much of a surprise for me though coz me and huoymin already knew one was opening in the city. right huoymin? well i bought $15 black short shorts. next time i'll probably buy more but i'm just so glad we don't have to travel to bloody osbourne park or wherever those other supre's are. it's cool. it's right opposite where city beach is- you can't miss it. it's the store with the security guards are standing outside. i think the guy who checked my bag was gay. he was still cool though.

let us begin with what i was doing.... actually i can't rmb what i was doing/ oh wait it's coming back to me! i was at the computer eating huoymin's most favourite forbidden food mi goreng and i got a msg from the very cute sean asking me if i wanted to go to the ruby room with him and his friend kate. at the time it was 10 past 9 and i felt bored so i agreed to go. he told me he would pick me up at 9.30pm. omg. that was like twenty minutes!!!! i had to eat and get ready in twenty minutes and i had JUST started eating my migoreng! so i had to scarf that down real quickly then decide what to wear and then get my bag ready etc etc. i wore what i wore last week when i went to the ruby room ( i go to ruby room heaps hey! i'm addicted!!!) which was my black jeans and this cute green top that i scored at city beach for half the price woo! i decided to wear flats bcoz i just couldn't be bothered with the inevitable sore feet that i knew i would get if i had worn heels. luckily glass didn't cut thru the soles of my shoes else my feet would've been cut..

anyway kate and sean got to my house at quarter to nine-- made me rush for nothing! then we headed off to burswood. we got there at about ten past ten and then quickly found a parking spot (yay!) unlike last week when we had to drive around for twenty minutes looking for a place to park. kate wore this really pretty dress with a black sash and heels thus making me feel underdressed in my jeans and flats. oh well! we arrived and walked up the stairs to the ruby room and the line was pretty massive so i went to claim another burswood booklet from joining club burswood a couple weeks ago. then we went to line up and the line actually went pretty quickly. it wasn't as bad as i imagined it to be when you line up in a massive line if you know what i mean.

got the stamp but had to pay $8 to get in coz we were too late for free entry. that was the first time ever i had to pay to get into a club (not including asia cocktail because we got two free drinks for that which i thought was pretty good) and they actually stamped me properly this time and you can see the whole stamp and it says "airbag". but you already knew that.

we went into the club and then moved straight to the bar- kate wanted to get something to drink so i thought i might as well get something to drink too bcoz i wasn't driving so i bought my first ever drink from a bar (again not incl. asia cocktail coz we had pre-paid for drinks so we didn't technically have to use money) and i got a smirnoff. my face was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO red after that one drink. it was completely burning up - you could literally fry an egg on my face.

then we went onto the dancefloor to dance- we hadn't missed airbag's first set yet so that was lucky. airbag came on and then agnes msgd me coz she was at the ruby room too and she came and danced with me, kate n sean while airbag was playing. they played the same stuff AGAIN. panic! at the disco etc. i still like that song tho. it's the only one that i actually know the words to.

after airbag played agnes went off and us three just danced a little more then kate went to get another drink from the bar so we followed. got some water so my throat wouldn't be dry after the smirnoff. then we came back to the dancefloor and danced some more. it was either that or me passing out on sean and falling asleep. i SERIOUSLY cannot take alcohol. i am like off my face after one drink.

went to the bathroom coz needed to go after all those drinks then when kate n i got back airbag was playing again yay! but it was kinda shit. played some songs that i knew of but i didn't know the words to. so i was there- pretending i knew the song and just head banging looking like a tool. OH WELL!! after airbag played again we stayed and danced coz we were like in the middle of the dancefloor and that's a good place to dance. so we were dancing and then agnes msgd me asking if she could come home with us and i was like okay then. man she tried to rape sean i tell you. he was telling me on the way back in the car that she kept trying to kiss him which i thought was absolutely hilarious bcoz it just is. agnes is funny! hehe

then the normal music came back on and then this guy come up to us and started dancing with me which was completely fine coz he looked like blair mcdonough from big brother and neighbours. rmb him? yeah so i ended up hooking up with him the rest of the night and he bought me a drink. yes! i completed another one of my tasks which was to hook up with a complete random and get a stranger to buy me a drink. but then afterwards i found out that we were kindof connected bcoz sean saw his friend from uni and her boyfriend is friends with the guy who is friends with the guy who i hooked up with. damn this is a small world! at least i know he wasn't lying when he told me he was 20. he thinks my name is becky and i'm from brisbane.

omg. i nearly kissed sean last night in the car. which was bad. well it wouldve been good but in the long run it wouldve been bad. so luckily i didn't. i was so trashed. and that's after like two drinks. yup i'm a cadbury.

last night was HNG's 18th party gathering thing and at first i wasn't planning to go but vanessa called me to go so i went. when we rocked up at about 8ish after dashing around looking for a bottle shop to buy vincent a present (we ended up getting him canadian club) we went to his place with danny (coz danny was driving) and there was like 5 ppl there. *crickets chirping*

the potato salad was nice.

then more ppl rocked up. there were only 5 girls, me, van, steph, sharon and azlia. and then afterwards 3 other girls rocked up. alot of guys there too.

i drank 1.5 watermelon bacardi breezer and 1 lime bacardi breezer, half a beer and a shot of bacardi 151. fuck you guys- can you IMAGINE how off my face i was?? my head felt heavy and i just wanted to go to sleep and i think i said some things that might have been a bit embarrassing. hello- this is me- the girl who can't even drink cheap chardonnay without getting tipsy. lucky i didn't yak- no hangover too! but apparently i smelt like alcohol and then i had to go airport and pick up my mum. oops. i didn't drive tho mind you- my dad did. drink driving is BAD don't ever do it!

so technically it's not summer yet... it's halfway through spring, but let me tell you i felt the heat today. seriously. the weather needs to make up it's mind. today was sunny, humid and hot-- and now it's dark and gloomy looking. tomorrow it's going to RAIN and tonight there might be a thunderstorm.

tell you what happened to me this morning at 5.30am. a freaking mosquito was screaming in my ear. you know that high pitched meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee that mozzies sound out that gives you goosebumps and shiver inside. i HATE mozzies. HATE. HATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that made me wake up. actually it happened to me yesterday as well but i didn't get to catch it yesterday.... today i was ready for it the little fucker. i waited for it to come back and buzz near my ear again and then turned and BAM! ur dead. the little shit bit me like 10 times. i've got mozzie bites on my arm and on my back. oh the pain. angry red mozzie bites. yuck!!! lucky i squashed that fucking huge mozzie. squashed mozzie is NOT a good look at 5.30 in the morning. it's gross. and it was bloody. seriously-- i'm not exaggerating (not even a little) when i say that it bit me ten times. it DID!!

let me just start by saying PASAR MALAM WAS FUCKING AWESOME!!! we had SOOOO much fun! at least I did anyway (and i'm pretty sure my compatriots tina and kiki aka vanessa and joanne did too!). Basically my night consisted of eating, laughing, coughing, laughing at coughing after laughing and special highlight-- enjoying mango ICEY ICE (as well as singing the odd ronan keating and train songs). I don't know why tina, kiki and i had so much fun--wait-- actually i do. There was something in that icey ice that made us go just a little crazy. Actually- i take that back. ALOT CRAZY!!!! you shouldve seen us-- we were OFF- and this was like in a "i'm not drunk at all" type of way. I think we acted more drunk than we would have if we were actually drunk.... something to think about.. Anyway, Joanne (kiki) and i left my house at 6pm to get to curtin for pasar malam. We got there at about 6.15pm and we had a look around at all the different stalls. It was all food stalls-- at first we were a bit disappointed bcoz that was all there was- just food! Then- we saw a person with squid on a stick-- then we thought- HEY! i want that squid. So we found the line to the squid bbq and got some squid. I also got some cuttlefish and COMBINATION BALLS! yummy!!! we settled down on the steps to watch some things that were happening on stage. we saw a lion dance performance and also a salsa dance. Joanne- we are so going to learn how to salsa in the holidays (you too tina!) After that, Vanessa called and then me and jo went to find her at stall 15. She was with the one true love of my life (HAHA) eugene! Then we went exploring,, the three of us girls together again for a night of fun, laughter and food glorious food, our three most favourite things besides boys! We walked around looking for some more food and got some solids to eat-- went back to the steps to eat and enjoy more entertaining entertainment. yes that little show off asian lady with the weird necktie was VERY ENTERTAINING!!! anyway, after we had those solids, we went off again to get some ICEY ICE!!! this is the best part of the night-- seriously guys- icey ice is AWESOME. i went to order my icey ice and then as i left, i heard vanessa and joanne crack up laughing-- i was wondering what they were laughing about.. apparently in line, before they went to order their icey ice, vanessa decided to use fake names (she didn't go thru with it but her fake name was tina). where she thought of that idea i have no idea myself but when they told me about it i couldn't stop laughing. that was the beginning of a very very fun night! While we waited for our icey ice's we made names for myself and joanne- vanessa came up with these as well and as of that night i shall be known as betty when we are drunk and need alias' to give to randoms and joanne will forever be known as kiki- until we can find a cornier name for her. After getting icey ice, we went back to the steps to eat our yummo icey ice and watch indian ppl dancing which was quite cool. then jonni came to find vanessa.... and then we went to check out his friend mitch. too bad mitch wasn't hot. after that, we walked around some more and i think that was when the incident happened with the balls hitting-- that was pretty hilarious i must say. i laughed pretty hard. actually- we laughed pretty hard for the whole night. we had so much fun!! we say the curtin idol boys sing songs and we sang along with them! soooo much fun- even though me and vanessa had sore throats and couldn't make out the tune properly we still had a go and sang the best we could. it was really really fun!!! fun, fun, FUN!!!! that was also one of the highlights of my evening. After that, i think kara the prostitute was up next. oops i mean kara the bellydancer. it was EW how she was dancing with that old man-- i mean she was good but it was still ew. after kara we went for another walk and got some more food... i can't be bothered typing anymore but all in all it was a really good night. I dunno where all you CI's went-- noone tried calling me or anything like that so i dunno what happened to you. Anyway, hope you had as much fun as me coz i had a blast! Can't wait for pasar malam 2007!!! ICEY ICE FRIENDS FOREVER REUNION!! woo!!!!

today i had my picnic to celebrate my 18th bday! we started preparing everything the night before like the ingredients for the springrolls and also wrapping wontons. In the morning of my picnic i felt really really sick- had a fever and felt like i had to vomit seriously. I didn't really prepare any of the food bcoz i went back to sleep again- i felt really bad!! anyway, i think it went alright... what did you guys think? there was definitely more than enuf food that's for sure.. here's some pix of cake cutting time =)

we had wontons, fairy bread, springrolls, sausage rolls, pies, quiche, cookies, muffins, cake plus much much more! thanks to everyone who brought food along and thanks heaps to everyone who rocked up! hope you had a good afternoon and it wasn't too boring! =)

eugene came to pick me up at 6pm with danny at my place and we made our way to vanessa's place coz she was running late. i wore a red dress that i've had since i last went to melbourne which was AGES ago. anyway we made our way to vanessa's place and she was still doing her hair. JEEZ vanessa- NOONE CARES what your hair looks like!!! you looked fine! moving on, when vanessa finally finished getting ready we headed off to northbridge to meet people for dinner at hog's breath cafe. i didn't realise that it was so expensive and i only had $30 on me. oops. anyway, had dinner there- it wasn't that great but it wasn't bad either. maybe next time it will be better...

After dinner we made our way to pot black and played some pool. I SUNK NOTHING. when vanessa's beloved jonni was on my team we STILL lost. but it was fun i guess. after pot black we went to metrocity and didn't have to wait too long in the line which was good. and i won a prize yay! it's in vanessa's bag though so i dunno when i'll get it back... anyway, we made our way into the club- it really is overrated but i thought it was quite nice without so many ppl inside. saw all three floors of the club which was cool.

We sat around and did nothing for a little while and then went down to get some drinks from the bar. First i got a vodka and orange juice which was good. Tasted like orange juice heh heh. The only problem was that we were standing around for like 30 mins to be served. ew. Then after downing that drink we went down to the dancefloor. We didn't spend that much time there i don't think. I can't really remember what happened.....

Blank- i seriously can't remember what happened between my first drink and second drink... I think it was something along the lines of finding ppl and dancing.

Then we went to get our second drink and i got a bourbon and coke. Didn't really like it so i gave half of it to shirley. I think that was a bad idea in hinesight coz she was a bit crazy tipsy. After getting the drink, vanessa DITCHED me (thanks vanessa) and she went to church. I think after that i hung out with justine and them but i can't exactly remember that either... I think eugene was with me. I know i wasn't alone but i can't rmb who i was with.

After that heaps of ppl started to come, there was kahsean, yuann yee, huoymin and my gorgeous husband ulai. And then after they were getting their drinks, danielle, lisa, anny and vanessa rocked up.

Went dancing with kahsean and them.. OMG kahsean ur such a skank dancer! (you looked good though) and there were all these random guys who wanted to dance with kahsean and ulai. The dancefloor was PACKED. you couldn't move or anything really coz there were just so many bodies squashed together on the one dancefloor. they had pole dancers on stage too-- very risque. Some random indian guy tried to feel me up when we were dancing. ew. and also there was this weird asian guy who tried to get close to kahsean and i and i was like EWWWWW wtf is he doing. i was really scared coz that guy looked kinda scary and intoxicated and freaky.

Then vanessa came back from church with jonni. She won first prize- woo! Congrats vanessa- free trip to s'pore i'm so jealous! We just stayed dancing on the dance floor and the time must have been about 2 o clock. I danced with another random white guy (i think he was jonni's friend and he smelt funny and he tried singing that song by neyo- so sick but he can't sing). That didn't last too long though because we went outside for fresh air and then after that we decided we had to go home. i wanted to stay coz it was still early but oh well- who can say no to a free ride. Didn't get to go back and dance but the dancefloor was so packed that you couldn't really dance anyway.

The trip back home in vincent's car was pretty interesting. I sat next to shirley in the car and listening to her ramble on is always funny. Shirley you were so drunk but you kept saying that you weren't. but you were. YOU WERE ok? she is so funny- love that girl. she was just talking about heaps random stuff. kahsean called me when we were in the car and shirley was like "i wanna say hi to kahsean. please can i say hi to kahsean. i miss kahsean" etc etc. oh and another funny thing shirley said was that she was "mrs careful" and she thought that mr careful would be called theodore. and when shirley laughs that's pretty funny too- it's like a gaspy heh heh heh./ so hilarious.

And that was pretty much my first night clubbing. and on my bday too woo! Tomorrow is my picnic- just so there's NO CONFUSION how to get there- the park is actually called riverton bridge park and it's on fern road. My bad-- i just call that shelley foreshore coz i've been calling it that all my life but that's wrong. oopsies. just go to the park on fern road and u'll be right =)

My throat hurts from screaming and drinking alcohol and no water and this morning my hands had this mysterious red substance on them which i don't know where it came from. It's really weird. i can't think of where it couldve come from.... i don't think i was drunk or anything like that though. must be from my dress....

Oh yeah and on the night of my actual bday like at 12am on the 29th i headed down to the cas with my mum, bet my only $10 on roulette and won $72. woo! that was awesome. and the guy where i cashed in my money from was cute.

Also an apology to all the ppl i was rude to last night in msgs and stuff like that- it's frustrating when you can't get thru to ppl either coz they don't check their fones or answer msgs or try to call when you can't hear anything over the music. I was a bit agro i admit that! sorry!!! i promise not to be as bitchy next time and it will be lots more fun coz there won't be so many ppl. can't wait to go again- i didn't get to do enough dancing!!!
